Delicious. Only the service could seem less annoying.

We stopped here in the early afternoon for a drink and a bite to eat. Nice outside seating. Since we were in a group of six, we had to sit at 2 tables, although it was not required by corona rules at the time, as there were only places for 4 or 2 and the chairs could not be moved. The service was ok, but the prices for the tarte flambée are too high.

This is a very civilised place to stop for a coffee and a cake or some kind of chocolate stuff, when you're footsore from tramping the streets of spacious Berlin. We were in the upstairs cafe. It was exquisitely done, comfortable, and the service was extremely good. A very luxurious experience.

Everything tastes really good. It's on a street and sometimes that's not so nice. The chocolate (drink) is delicious. It is also not bitter and if it does, there is some cream with it.

Very good tasty food. Slightly higher in price. You may have to wait a bit for a table as it is well attended.

We reserved a seat outside for breakfast and were able to enjoy the great atmosphere in the sun. The breakfast was delicious and rich. In addition, a very friendly and courteous service. A great way to start the day in a wonderful city!

I have only experienced the Café portion of this spot. The food us always decent and fast service. They do not speak English.

The dishes looked good, no soy / oat milk and the older waitress Nadja is very unfriendly. The young girls seem to be under their bushels. Wouldn't go again. It's a shame because the ambience is actually nice.

On the one hand luck, on the other hand bad luck. Wanted to have a bite to eat in the evening. Shortly before 7 p.m. we were able to place an order, a few minutes later other new guests were informed that the kitchen was already closed. So much for luck. Now the bad luck. My tarte flambée had almost no creme fraiche. A suitably large tarte flambée was only about 5 square centimeters covered. When I pointed this out to the waitress, there was only a succinct "I'll pass it on to the kitchen." No apologies, no discounts, nothing. My wife's vegetable tart wasn't much better, the vegetables in it were still pretty raw; There was probably just enough time for the egg mass to stick. Therefor it was really not a reasonable price-performance ratio. We will definitely not come back here.

La Maison du Chocolat is located at Benkertstraße 20, in 14467 Potsdam. In addition to French cakes and chocolate, there is a café with an outdoor area and wine and refined dishes. As for the atmosphere and the ambience itself, all of this is very exemplary. The staff is very friendly, helpful, socially competent and very valuable. In this respect, I am happy to recommend the aforementioned café to others.

Here you can get as well as: sympathetic and fast waiters. I found the offer extremely likeable. The chairs are extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is very decent. There you don't get the feeling of dining like sardines in a can in the evening - yes, ... right to be able to eat another dessert afterwards.

horrible, one of the waitresses is always responding rudely !!! I went to buy twice and I wanted to think that there were a lot of people or that I just met them at a bad time. The third and last time I went, she served me a piece of cake with a coffee, and her treatment was very bad. I really felt very bad, maybe it is because I am a foreigner. I will never go back there

Maybe it's a bit like the "o" that has disappeared from the "Chocolat" lettering. It is not taken care of. In these times in particular, customer service is more important than ever. Nobody needs to come back and nobody will come back if the service isn't right. Anyone who calls for 5.90 euros for a chocolate has to shine with top quality and perfect, friendly service. Otherwise, such a price is just outrageous. The café could be a highlight in Potsdam, if only it wanted to.

Not friendly at all, and made us paid 6 euros 2 small glasses of water with our coffee and the cake without let us the choice, no previous warning (we thought to have tap water to rinse the mouth after coffee). So ashamed because the patisserie are really good. But never again thanks there's other good shop

One of the best chocolates you can get.

At 11.15 they refused to serve breakfast because they were „too busy“ supposedly. Chocolate cake was not fresh. Cards not accepted. This place is not recommended.

Chocolate was thick and sweet, cream was nice, but it was almost cold? Service was friendly and attempting Big big minus: only cash money....

Wonderful July evening squeezing the last hours of my sister's visit in Germany. We enjoyed a nice breeze while sitting outside. Fantastic cheese platter and fruit tea. Excellent service. Probably the nicest waitress I have ever had in four years living in Berlin. Annett made us feel so apecial. We didn't want the night to end!

The setting, the food, basically everything is so good here it should not be missed as a breakfast option. Don't miss on a German breakfast. While it is a more expensive option (somewhere around €9.00 per person), it gives you everything in a wonderfully decorated plate with edible fruit and more.

Great service. The original hot chocolate is outstanding. Possibly one of the best if not the best I've ever had. Asparagus soup was delicious.

The chocolate was thick and rich. It costs like 4.5€, a bit pricy though. And it was a bit too sweet, but the cream next to it compensate the sweetness. Overall it was a great experience and place to chill out with friends for a Sunday afternoon tea.

AVOID IT! Slow service, too salty food, inattentive staff, dirty stained table clothing. Too expensive for ruined evening. And not accepting any cards! Chocolate is ok, but too sweet and not balanced presentation of tastes WITH strange fruits around. Try Princess cheesecake in Berlin for much better chocolate experience. Ps. Rotten strawberry as a bonus. Been there few years ago, it was ok then. But NOW extremely dissatisfied. Avoid at any matter. Worst experience in my life.
